My talk in Primary tomorrow

Today I’m talking about the things I love about being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Something I’m very thankful for is my blessings (if I didn’t have my blessings I wouldn’t be here right now). Of course I’m extremely thankful for my Heavenly Father and for Jesus Christ.

Something that is really important to me is the idea of having a forever family. My Mom’s parents died before I was born and I’ve never met them in this life. In the church I’ve learned that I have an Eternal family and because of this I know that I will meet my Grandparents someday and be with my own family forever. My parents got married in the Cardston temple for time and all eternity and someday I will have a temple marriage also.

Everyone needs Gods help sometimes. That is what our prayers are for, we get to do it anytime and anywhere no matter what. We can also thank our Heavenly Father for His help in our lives.

Our church has such beautiful buildings and temples. If the church is God’s home – then the gospel is like the air and the sunshine. It makes everything better, brighter and more beautiful. I love the music that we sing in church. Whenever I sing primary songs, they make me feel like I don’t have anything to worry about and they always put a smile on my face.

I remember the song “Scripture Power” that we sometimes sing in Primary. The scriptures really do have there own power and they tell us about the Prophets of old times.

I’m very glad that I get to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ – Amen.
