Helen Keller

By David A. Adler Illustrated by John Wallner

This book is a true story and at the end I was sad because she really died on June 1, 1968. Helen Keller understands people by spelling into her hand. She couldn't see and hear. The most important day in all her life was when she met her teacher Anne Sullivan. The boy who invented the telephone helped her find her teacher. People all over the world, even the president, honoured her experience.
